Questions
Does it post to a ledger?
It maps its events to accounts and posts them where a ledger exists — and says plainly that it is not posting where one does not. Finance is deliberately not required: a lender with four staff should not be handed a stock module to get a loan book.
Can approvals be split from disbursement?
Credit assessment, approvals and disbursements are three screens with three permissions. Deciding a loan is good and releasing the money are two acts.
What happens when someone falls behind?
Arrears has its own section — collections, restructuring and write-offs — so a bad loan has somewhere to go other than quietly staying "active".
