Questions
Does it do tax?
It holds tax rates, applies them on invoices and bills, and produces a tax summary for the period. It is a record you file from, not a filing service — nothing is submitted to ZRA on your behalf.
Why does switching Finance on also switch on Inventory?
Because a ledger invoices somebody, and the somebody it invoices is a customer record. It also values stock on the balance sheet and posts a cost of sales against it. A ledger with a stock account and no stock behind it is not a smaller ledger, it is a broken one — so the two come together.
Can my accountant get in without seeing everything else?
Yes. Roles are per module and per branch, so an external accountant can hold the Finance screens and nothing else — not payroll, not the customer list, not the channels.
Does it work across branches?
Every entry belongs to a branch, and the reports run per branch or across the company. A business with a Lusaka shop and a Kitwe shop keeps one chart of accounts and two sets of numbers.
