Know what is on the shelf.
Products, stock counts, batches and expiry, transfers between branches, purchase orders and the suppliers behind them. Adjustments are their own permission, because they are how stock disappears.

What Inventory is
Products, stock counts, batches, transfers, purchase orders and suppliers.
Inventory and CRM are one switch. Turning either on gives you both — they are two desks doing one job, and the permissions stay separate so the people at one desk do not get the other. See CRM.

Questions
Why is correcting a stock count a separate permission?
Receiving a delivery and selling an item happen because something happened. An adjustment is somebody declaring the count wrong — the right tool for a genuine miscount, and the one way to make stolen stock vanish from the books. The people who do the first two are rarely the people who should do the third.
Does it handle more than one warehouse?
Yes — warehouses and the shelf locations inside them, with transfers between branches that can require approval before they move.
Can I put products in front of the public?
Publishing to the marketplace is its own permission, separate from recording a price internally. Putting a price in front of customers under your company name is not the same act as writing it down.
