What CRM is
Leads, customers, quotations, orders and the follow-ups nobody makes.
CRM and Inventory are one switch. Turning either on gives you both — they are two desks doing one job, and the permissions stay separate so the people at one desk do not get the other. See Inventory.

Questions
Is this separate from Inventory?
They are two desks on one switch. Ticking either gives you both, because the deal a salesperson closes is what takes an item off the shelf — a pipeline whose wins reduce no stock is a pipeline nobody trusts. The permissions stay apart, so a stock controller does not get the customer list.
Can I import the customers I already have?
Customers can be created and edited on the screen and carry their own contact details, branch and history. Bulk import is not in this module today — a list of a few hundred is an afternoon, a list of fifty thousand is a conversation.
Does a quotation become an invoice?
If you also run Finance, yes — the quote carries through to an invoice rather than being retyped. Without Finance you still quote and take orders; there is simply no ledger behind them.
