1. Submit a deletion request
A request must come from the account owner. Signing in confirms which account the request belongs to and prevents someone else from asking us to delete your data. Submission does not immediately sign you out; your account remains available while the request enters review.
Sign in to verify your account
After signing in, return to this page. The deletion form will be linked only to the account in your secure session.

- Request recorded. A privacy request and linked review case are created with a target date, without exposing the request publicly.
- Identity and scope checked. We confirm the request belongs to you and identify data covered by the account across FOUR16 services.
- Legal and safety review. Active disputes, preservation orders, fraud evidence or records required by law are separated from data that can be erased.
- Deletion completed. The account is disabled and covered data is deleted or de-identified across live systems and connected processors.
We aim to complete verified requests as soon as practicable and ordinarily within 30 days. A complex request, identity problem or legal preservation requirement can take longer; the case remains visible to authorised privacy staff until it is resolved.
3. What we delete or de-identify
Subject to the exceptions below, account deletion covers:
- account identifiers and sign-in access;
- profile details, work history, portfolio and preference data;
- posts, media, stories and listings controlled only by your account;
- saved items, notification preferences and device notification tokens;
- applications, workspace records and organisation links where removal is allowed;
- copies held by processors that are instructed to erase covered data.
Information that other people need to understand their own records—such as a message they received or a completed collaboration—may remain with your identity removed or replaced by a “deleted account” label.
4. What may be retained
Deletion rights are not absolute. We may retain the minimum information necessary for a legal obligation, active dispute, fraud and safety prevention, enforcement of platform rules, protection of another person’s rights, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Restricted records are no longer used to provide ordinary account features. Encrypted backups expire on their normal cycle and are not used to restore a deleted account to the live service.
Save anything you want to keep. Once deletion is completed, your profile, media and account access cannot be restored.
5. If you cannot sign in
First use password recovery to set a new password for the email address on the account. This is the safest way to verify ownership without sending identity documents through an unprotected channel.
If account access cannot be recovered, use the report controls associated with your public profile and state that the report is an account-owner privacy request. Staff will require a separate ownership check before accepting deletion. Never place a password, one-time code or full identity document in a public report.
Read the Privacy Policy for the other rights and choices available to you.
